For disambiguation purposes, please note that I am using the phrase “Shadow Stocks” here in a colloquial, entirely non-technical sense, to refer to small stocks that have been left in the proverbial shadows due to a lack of analyst and financial media attention. I am aware of the technical usages of the phrase shadow stocks, and I have no plans to blog about them. I picked this domain name because it was short, alliterative, easy to remember and spell, and because I figured the technical usages of the phrase were obscure enough that most readers wouldn’t be thrown off by my use of the phrase this way.
